2012 Fund Drive Prizes

Through gracious donations from our community partners and friends, we have over 80 prizes that will be auctioned off or randomly drawn throughout the week. It’s amazing! So get in on the action and donate to CJAI 92.1 FM for your chance to WIN. No donation is too big or too small!

Daily Auctions:

One auction item each day. Bidding closes at 5p.m. and the highest bidder is announced that day.

Monday – 18 holes of golf for 2 plus golf cart.
Donated by Westbrook Golf Club and Driving Range (estimated value $110.00)

Tuesday – Crimson King maple, approximately 8’ tall (7 gallon tub size ) Donated by Dale Baker, Canadian Tire Corp. Garden Centre, Princess & Gardiners Road (estimated value $$79.00 + tax)

Wednesday – 18 holes of golf for 2 plus golf cart.
Donated by Westbrook Golf Club and Driving Range (estimated value $110.00)

Thursday – 5 tree & shrubs (hackberry, amur goldbark cherry, pink villosa lilac, tweed euonymus and a Japanese larch.)
Donated by Golden Bough Tree Farm located at 900 Napanee Rd., about 20 min. North of Napanee on highway 41. These are bare root trees and shrubs which means no heavy pots and need to be planted asap after pickup. They would need to be picked up at their farm on April 28/29 or May 5/6 (estimated value $ 65)

Friday – 18 holes of golf for 2 plus golf cart.

Week-long Auction:

Bidding starts Monday morning on these items and closes at 5p.m. on Friday.

  • Two rounds of Sporting Clays (50 shots per round) ammunition and instruction provided.
    Donated by Island Ridge Pheasantry Farm located on Wolfe Island, owner George Merry. (estimated value $60.00)
  • Dinner for 8 people prepared by Betty Wemp and delivered to your home. Includes appetizer, entre & dessert with a choice from 2 or 3 menus. With this, Steve Kennedy is donating his time to sing and play at the event, prior to and following dinner. (estimated value $300.00)
  • Escorted Tour to Montreal by Michele Lelay for up to 4 people, which includes Michele, the driver. Winner can choose what they would like to see and do, choose a theme or make other arrangements with Michele to customize their tour (estimated value $150.00)
  • A load of aged cow manure – great compost for your gardens.
    Donated by Keith Miller and delivered to your home on Amherst Island. (estimated value $100.00)
  • Half an Amherst Island lamb – cut, wrapped and frozen.
    Donated by Foot Flats Farm owners, Mark Ritchie & Cherry Allen. (estimated value $150)
