For The Sake Of The Song

June 27th, 2016 · Comments Off on For The Sake Of The Song

Hosted by Bruce Sudds & Leah Murray, For the Sake of the Song is a show that will feature those who melded the English language with music to move us. A focus of the show will be the often overlooked songwriters – women, Irish, African, the writers who wrote for others, those who wrote before the recording industry or were overlooked by it.

Each show will focus on one main songwriter that is at least somewhat well known and the context in which they created their songs, the songwriters that inspired them and other songwriters of the era and that were influenced by this songwriter.

The show repeats each Wednesday 5pm-7pm.
