25 September, 2016 – It is with sadness that we announce that we have lost one of our former volunteer family members at Amherst Island Radio: Cheryl Saunders, host of the Beaver’s Bark. Cheryl left us on Saturday August 21st after a very short illness. She was one not to waste time in life; if she was not seen out with her camera or attending meetings with the Kingston Photography Club, she could be found creating and selling her jewlery at the Sunday Farmers Market in Bath. Rest in peace in that big radio station in the sky.
Caribbean Vibes, with Peter St Marthe, brings a little taste of authentic Caribbean music to your Sunday afternoons (5-7pm) while Geek Positive Radio, with Kaela Simpson and Adam Wemp, provides you a safe place to let your inner-nerd out every Monday 7-9pm.
