[17 May 2014] – The Island Radio Benefit Rock Concert held at The Mansion on May 16th was a resounding success. It was a very fun and enjoyable evening of good friends and great music with 100% of the proceeds going to Island Radio.

Many aspects generated funds: silent auction from Purlin’ J’s, cash donation from the headline band Goldwing, hat sales, tshirt sales and tickets sales. In total we generated $1,030 for Island Radio.

Special thanks go to all of the entertainers, volunteers, organizers, emcees, door people, merch table people, poster hangers, ticket sellers, broadcasters that promoted the event, business partners who donated their time and services, sound technicians, photographers, videographers, social media buzz-makers, and to the staff of The Mansion. Without this team effort this level of success would not have been realized. Extra special thanks go to Shannon and Derek who spearheaded this great initiative. More pictures can be found here.
