[16 April, 2014] – Congratulations to Dan Simpson and Steve Kennedy, they are the winners of the Friday Morning Show’s Ice Be Gone 2014 contest. Dan & Steve were able to successfully predict when the ice would leave The North Channel of The Bay of Quinte. The two winners will share the benefits of the award, a book of ferry tickets for the Frontenac II. Thanks to all 45 people that participated, to ferry crew and Larry Jensen, host of the Friday Morning Show, for making this fun contest happen!

[12 April, 2014] – Mark down Friday May 16th on your calendars! The Island Radio Benefit Rock Concert is taking place at The Mansion in downtown Kingston.

When: Friday May 16th (first set starts at 8pm)
Where: The Mansion in downtown Kingston
Who:Abby Stewart, Kat Heikkila & Jeff Pearce (from Moist), Rae Corcoran, Bellfonix and Goldwing (and maybe some surprise special guests!)
Cost: $10 in advance or $15 at the door with 100% of the proceeds going to Island Radio!

Tickets go on sale next week at The Mansion (downtown Kingston), Blossoms (2785 Princess St in Bayridge), Island Radio World Headquarters (Amherst Island), and a Heritage Point Antiques and Gifts (Bath).

100% of the proceeds from this event go to funding operating expenses at the station so plan on coming out and enjoying yourself!

[6 April, 2014] – Larry Jensen, host of the Friday Morning Show, challenged listeners to predict when the ice will leave the North shore of Amherst Island and the final calendar of Votes is now available. Best of luck everyone!!!!

28 January, 2014 – Ellis Wolfreys, host of the popular Wolf’s Den, was joined LIVE in studio by talented Briannah Cotton and friends on January 15th. January 25, 2014 – Eric Tremblay, host of the Friday Night Radio Show reached his milestone 100th show last night. About 1 hour into the broadcast, a party erupted as many Island Radio volunteers arrived with snacks to celebrate with Eric.
